John L. Leckey, the former senior coroner for Northern Ireland, has passed away at the age of 73. Mr Leckey, who retired in October 2015 after more than three decades overseeing inquests, passed away yesterday, according to the Law Society of Northern Ireland.

Retired Belfast solicitor John Boston has passed away, the Law Society of Northern Ireland has announced. Mr Boston qualified as a solicitor in 1947 and was a principal in John Boston & Co Solicitors until his retirement in May 2003.
Dublin solicitor David Quinn, formerly of Beauchamps and BLM, has passed away after an illness. Mr Quinn died peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Blackrock Hospice on Saturday.

Retired Belfast solicitor Ted Jones has passed away, the Law Society of Northern Ireland has said. Mr Jones qualified as a solicitor in September 1973. He founded corporate law firm Jones & Company Solicitors in 1998 and served as its principal partner until his retirement in 2012.
