John L. Leckey, the former senior coroner for Northern Ireland, has passed away at the age of 73. Mr Leckey, who retired in October 2015 after more than three decades overseeing inquests, passed away yesterday, according to the Law Society of Northern Ireland.

Retired Belfast solicitor John Boston has passed away, the Law Society of Northern Ireland has announced. Mr Boston qualified as a solicitor in 1947 and was a principal in John Boston & Co Solicitors until his retirement in May 2003.

Dublin solicitor David Quinn, formerly of Beauchamps and BLM, has passed away after an illness. Mr Quinn died peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Blackrock Hospice on Saturday.

Prominent Banbridge solicitor Arthur J. Downey has passed away. A graduate of Queen's University Belfast, Mr Downey qualified as a solicitor in 1978 and founded Arthur J. Downey Solicitors in 1981.

Armagh solicitor Kieran J. Morgan has passed away, less than two years after his retirement from private practice. Mr Morgan was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 1978 and was a principal in K. J. Morgan Solicitors until his retirement in 2019.

Retired Boyle solicitor Thomas L. Callan, former partner in the predecessor firm of Callan Tansey Solicitors, has passed away. Mr Callan was a partner in CE Callan & Co., which became Callan Tansey after a merger in 2008.

Retired Belfast solicitor Ted Jones has passed away, the Law Society of Northern Ireland has said. Mr Jones qualified as a solicitor in September 1973. He founded corporate law firm Jones & Company Solicitors in 1998 and served as its principal partner until his retirement in 2012.

Friends and colleagues of Katie Dawson BL have paid tribute to the "young and talented barrister" after she passed away yesterday. Ms Dawson, a graduate of UCC School of Law and the King's Inns who called to the Bar in 2002, was widely known for her work in the family and childcare courts.

Dungannon solicitor Edward Orr has passed away, the Law Society of Northern Ireland has announced. Mr Orr was admitted to the roll of solicitors in November 1961, later becoming a partner at Simmons McLaughlin & Orr. He retired as a consultant in 2011.

Limavady solicitor David Brewster has passed away at the age of 56. Mr Brewster qualified as a solicitor in September 1988 and was well known as principal of DR Brewster Solicitors.
