Founded in 2019, Trinity Women in Law (TWIL) was established to act as a forum for students at Trinity College Dublin to empower and uplift women and their accomplishments in the legal sphere.

The mentorship programme has been running since 2018 and connects female law students at Trinity College Dublin with legal professionals to gain support and guidance about pursuing a career in law.

Mentors are matched with a student for the academic year and will meet their mentee at a launch event in October and thereafter will be encouraged to keep in touch throughout the year.

Students often seek advice on CVs and cover letters, interview preparation for internship programmes, feedback on submissions to the annual TWIL publication and insight into their mentor’s career path and day-to-day work.

Mentors from all sectors of the legal profession are welcome whether their work is in the courtroom, in house or academia.
