Late lawyer Ivor Fitzpatrick left €46 million estate

Well-known Dublin solicitor Ivor Fitzpatrick died intestate with an estate worth more than €46 million, according to reports.
The managing partner of Ivor Fitzpatrick & Co Solicitors passed away on 24 March 2024 after a period of illness.
Probate proceedings are currently under way before the High Court, according to The Irish Times.
A financial fund has applied to the court for a limited grant of probate.
However, counsel for his widow, Susan Fitzpatrick, told the court a full grant of probate is expected within weeks.
Mr Fitzpatrick founded and led Ivor Fitzpatrick & Co Solicitors from 1981 and had a wide range of interests as a lawyer, property owner and entrepreneur.
