Investors in Diversity is Ireland’s leading diversity and inclusion (D&I) accreditation.

ALG is one of only 35 organisations in Ireland to achieve the Gold Mark, which involved a detailed assessment of the firm’s D&I policies, procedures and work practices.

The assessors looked at how D&I is embedded in every aspect of the business, its culture and in how its externally influences diversity and inclusion, through engagement with suppliers, clients and industry partners.

The Investors in Diversity programme recognises ALG’s commitment to embedding fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement (FREDIE).

Gold accreditation by the Irish Centre for Diversity follows ALG being named Company of the Year 2025 at the National D&I Awards and winning Chambers Europe Outstanding DEI Award 2025, which is an all-Europe award including the UK.

ALG’s D&I strategy, which aims to embed diversity and inclusion into everything it does, is approved and supported by the firm’s leadership team and implemented by five employee resource groups.

These include the DARE committee, the firm’s gender equality programme; the OneALG committee, the firm’s LGBTQ+ employee group; the cultural diversity committee; the social mobility committee; and the accessibility committee.

Commenting on the award, ALG managing partner David Widger said: “We are so proud to have achieved the Gold Mark.
