Sligo solicitors invited to October CPD day

The Sligo Solicitors Bar Association (SSBA) will host a CPD day on Friday 3 October 2025.
Retired Court of Appeal judge, mediator and arbitrator Michael Peart and Maura McNally SC are among the guest speakers at the event, taking place at the Sligo Park Hotel from 9am–5.30pm.
Other speakers include Michelle McLoughlin, M. McLoughlin Solicitors; Michelle Nolan, head of solicitor service at the Law Society of Ireland; Michele O’Boyle SC, O’Boyle Solicitors; Paul Griffin, First Due Diligence; Declan Cawley, psychotherapist; and Enda Brady, financial planner at iQ Financial.
Topics covered will include mediation, nervous shock, navigating LSRA complaints, financial planning, employment law and tax developments, efficient AML compliance, solicitor services and protecting wellbeing in a high pressure profession.
The event will qualify for seven CPD points — three general, three professional development and one client care — and tickets are available for €150, with a reduced rate for SSBA members.
