#InPictures: Sligo solicitors enjoy summer soirée

Sligo solicitors and invited guests enjoyed the Sligo Solicitors Bar Association’s annual summer soirée over the June bank holiday weekend.
The festivities included recognition of two local solicitors’ recent achievements — the appointment of Michele O’Boyle SC, partner at O’Boyle Solicitors, as adjunct professor at Trinity College Dublin, and the appointment of Niamh Ní Mhurchú, partner at Callan Tansey, to the Council of the Law Society of Ireland.

SSBA president Caroline McLaughlin told Irish Legal News: “Events like these are important to boost collegiality amongst our members and give an opportunity to recognise various achievements of our members throughout the year.
“We are very fortunate in Sligo to have colleagues who come out in strong numbers every year in support of the event.”
The Sligo Solicitors Bar Association is the representative association for Solicitors in Sligo town and county.
