Padraig Sheehan

Mr Sheehan, who established Padraig J. Sheehan Solicitors in Douglas in 2009, passed away on Monday 10 November.

He was chairperson of the Douglas Business Association (DBA), which he helped to re-establish in 2022 following the Covid pandemic.

In a statement, the DBA said Mr Sheehan was “the main visionary, demonstrating extraordinary enthusiasm, dedication, and leadership to bring our local business community back together and champion its future”.

It continued: “Padraig will be deeply missed by every member of the Douglas Business Association. His friendly face, his insightful guidance and his unwavering belief in the potential of Douglas will be a loss felt by all who knew him.

“He leaves behind a strong legacy within our association and he will always be remembered.”
