Seamus is a highly regarded lawyer specialising in complex insurance and liability disputes, with a strong reputation for advising on some of the market’s most significant claims and litigation matters.

With more than 26 years’ experience, he is widely recognised for his ability to guide domestic and international clients through complex legal and regulatory challenges, particularly in high-value and catastrophic injury claims, employers’ and public liability matters, product liability disputes, health and safety prosecutions, and cross-border litigation.

The promotion reflects Seamus’s individual contribution and marks another important milestone in strengthening DACB’s Dublin office. The firm continues to invest in its people and expertise to support clients in Ireland and beyond, responding to evolving client needs and increasing demand for sector-focused legal advice. As a key part of DACB’s international network, the Dublin team is well placed to combine trusted local advice with access to specialist expertise across multiple jurisdictions.

Commenting on his promotion, Seamus said, “I am delighted to join the partnership at DAC Beachcroft. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with outstanding clients and colleagues, and I am proud to take this next step with a team that has such a strong reputation.”

Rowena McCormack, practice head at DAC Beachcroft Ireland, added, “Seamus’s promotion is thoroughly deserved and reflects the quality of his work and the depth of talent within our team. He is highly regarded by clients and colleagues alike for his technical expertise, commercial judgement and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

“Ireland is an important market for DAC Beachcroft and we remain committed to deepening our expertise and strengthening the relationships we have built with clients. Seamus will play an important role in supporting the next phase of our growth and helping us build on the momentum we have already established.”
