Applications open for Scott Scholarship in Law worth €12,000

Future solicitors have been invited to apply for the Scott Scholarship at DCU School of Law and Government, delivered in association with Arthur Cox.
The scholarship, worth a total of €12,000, is named in memory of the late Frank Scott, a partner at Arthur Cox, and supports students who wish to pursue an LLM at DCU and intend to pursue a career as a solicitor.
It includes €6,750 in fees for EU students and €5,250 in the form of a stipend for the one-year duration of the programme.
Applicants are required to submit a CV and a personal statement of up to two pages, which will be judged by a panel made up of DCU faculty and Arthur Cox staff.
Personal statements should include the following:
- Why you wish to study this programme
- What in your record and experience makes you suitable for the LLM programme
- The impact you expect the LLM and this scholarship would have on your future
- How this scholarship would benefit your career as a solicitor
