Arthur Cox LLP appoints Amy McDermott and Christopher O’Reilly to lead its London office

Amy McDermott and Christopher O’Reilly have been appointed to lead Arthur Cox’s London office, effective from 1 September 2026.
Ms McDermott and Mr O’Reilly succeed Conor McCarthy, a partner in the firm’s corporate and M&A group who returns to Dublin after leading the London office since 2022.
McDermott is a partner in the corporate and M&A group and Mr O’Reilly is a partner in the asset management and investment funds group.
Commenting on the appointments, Geoff Moore, managing partner, said: “Our London office is an important part of our international business and plays a key role in supporting clients on complex international matters. Amy and Christopher are highly regarded lawyers whose expertise, strong client relationships and international experience make them ideally placed to lead the office’s continued development.
