Northern Ireland firm Allsopp Campbell Rainey has appointed Carla Fraser as partner and head of family law.

Ms Fraser brings with her more than a decade of specialist experience across complex matrimonial, divorce, and Children NI Order matters, including high-profile and sensitive cases.

She joins from a prominent Northern Ireland practice where she led the family and matrimonial department.

Her appointment marks Allsopp Campbell Rainey’s expansion into family law and follows the firm’s recent incorporation of Bangor-based Law Quinn and the addition of trainee solicitor Aimee Nelson.

Ms Fraser said: “I am delighted to be joining Allsopp Campbell Rainey! I look forward to working alongside a talented team of professionals who share my commitment to providing practical and compassionate legal support.

“Together, I hope we will continue to build on the firm’s excellent reputation. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the firm and to support families across Northern Ireland.”

Neil Allsopp, partner at Allsopp Campbell Rainey, said: “Carla is known across the profession for her calm authority, technical strength, and the unwavering support she provides to clients during challenging periods of their lives.

“Her arrival not only elevates our family-law capabilities but reinforces our commitment to building a practice defined by integrity, clarity, and compassion.”

Partner Andrew Campbell added: “Carla brings a depth of experience that is rare — not just in the breadth of complex cases she has managed, but in the steadiness and pragmatism she brings to every situation.

“She strengthens our ability to provide clients with holistic, joined-up advice across business, property, and family matters at moments when they need it most.”

Partner Darren Rainey said: “We’re investing in people who raise the bar for our clients, and Carla embodies that approach. Her leadership, her reputation, and her ability to guide clients with both empathy and firm direction make her an exceptional addition.

“We are delighted to welcome her into the partnership.”
