A&L Goodbody has appointed Clare Cashin as a partner in its construction and engineering practice.
Ms Cashin has over 20 years’ experience advising on construction law. She specialises in dispute resolution in relation to construction and infrastructure projects both in the private and public sector.
She has particular expertise in alternative dispute resolution such as mediation, conciliation, adjudication and arbitration.
She also advises on construction contracts, regulatory law, particularly health and safety and her disputes experience includes numerous procurement challenges.
Ms Cashin will join the firm later in the summer, working alongside Conor Owens, who leads the construction and engineering practice, and partners Eamonn Gill, Jamie Rattigan and Siobhan Kearney.
Managing partner David Widger said: “Construction projects, both private and public, are attracting much needed investment at the moment.
“Large-scale infrastructure projects and housing are certainly high on the government’s agenda. For that reason, our construction and engineering practice is very active and we see that continuing.
“Clare’s appointment is a welcome addition to our market-leading team and to our partnership. We wish her all the best.”
