William Fry triumphs in Calcutta Tag 2023

William Fry has emerged as the winner of the Rogers Recruitment Calcutta Tag 2023, with more than €19,000 raised for charity by the 32 participating teams.

The first event of the 25th Calcutta Run, the tournament took place at the Law Society of Ireland, Blackhall Place and TU Dublin over the weekend.

Matheson came runner-up, while Flynn O’Driscoll and the Bar Council of Ireland were semi-finalists.

Other participating teams included A&L Goodbody, Arthur Cox, the Bar Council of Ireland, Beauchamps, ByrneWallace, Dechert, Dillon Eustace, DLA Piper, Flynn O’Driscoll, Gartland Fury, Hayes Solicitors, LK Shields, Mason Hayes Curran, Matheson, Maples, McCann Fitzgerald, Mixed/Barnyard RFC (captained by James Morrin), Mixed (captained by Luke Callanan), Phillip Lee, Pinsent Masons and Walkers.

Next, the Calcutta Golf Classic 2023 will take place on Friday 19 May, while the 5km and 10km Calcutta Run will take place starting at the Law Society on Saturday 27 May and in Cork on Sunday 28 May.
