Two trainees have newly qualified as solicitors, Robyn Cupples, who joins the litigation and debt recovery team, and April Rea, who joins the conveyancing team, following their completion of training contracts. The firm has also promoted Marie Wilson and Alison Taylor to senior solicitor, in conveyancing and family respectively, alongside Sara-Louise Quinn in commercial banking.
Gareth Morgan, Ruby Keenan, and Scott Smid have been promoted to associate, with Mr Morgan working in probate, Ms Keenan in commercial banking and Mr Smid in commercial litigation. Wilson Nesbitt has clear training and progression pathways with eight of the 10 promoted employees first joining as paralegals. In addition, the firm will also be investing in the next generation of talent, welcoming three new trainee solicitors this year, as well as a new solicitor in the corporate team.
Drew Nesbitt, partner at Wilson Nesbitt, said: “We’re delighted to recognise the hard work, commitment, and progression of 10 colleagues across the firm. As an independent Northern Ireland firm, we are committed to developing our talent and deepening our expertise across key sectors to provide the best service for our clients as we continue to grow our business.
“These promotions reflect the depth of talent we have across the firm and the opportunities available to our people as they develop their careers with Wilson Nesbitt. We’re particularly pleased to see progression across a range of practice areas including family, commercial litigation and real estate, where we continue to invest in developing our teams and expertise.
“We congratulate everyone on their achievements and look forward to seeing them continue to develop in their new roles.”
