Irish peer-to-peer property lending platform Property Bridges has appointed Claire McCormack as head of legal.

Property Bridges has expanded significantly in recent years, funding an increasing number of property projects across Ireland.

The appointment reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to robust governance, high-quality execution, and supporting continued scale in a regulated environment.

Ms McCormack is a highly experienced banking and property lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in the Irish property market.

She has advised numerous mid-tier finance providers across a wide range of domestic transactions, with deep expertise in commercial property-backed lending and residential development finance.

She joins Property Bridges from a reputable Dublin law firm, where she has acted for Property Bridges for more than six years, giving her a deep understanding of the business, its culture, and its approach to lending.

David Jelly, founder and CEO of Property Bridges, said: “Property Bridges has grown strongly in recent years, and as we continue to fund more projects, it’s vital that our legal capability continues to evolve with the business.

“Claire has worked closely with us for over six years, so she understands our model inside out. Her experience, commercial mindset and ability to get deals done make her an outstanding addition to our leadership team.”

Ms McCormack added: “I’ve worked with Property Bridges for many years and have seen first-hand the quality of the team and the strength of its approach to property lending. I’m delighted to join the business at this exciting stage of its growth and to support its continued expansion.”
