Arthur Cox Northern Ireland has announced a series of senior promotions.

Lois Arbuthnot, Darren Fitzsimons and Hannah Jackson from the corporate and M&A group, alongside Ross Carrigan from the real estate group, have been promoted to senior associate while David Rogan has been appointed of counsel in the firm’s banking and finance group.

Both Ms Arbuthnot and Ms Jackson began their legal careers with Arthur Cox, having joined the firm as trainees in 2017.

Lynsey Mallon, managing partner at Arthur Cox Northern Ireland, said: “These promotions acknowledge Ross, Lois, Darren, Hannah and David’s talent and ambition. They have each made a significant contribution to the continued growth of our firm, and I am pleased to see them reach this important milestone in their careers.

“At Arthur Cox, our people are one of our greatest strengths. We are committed to creating an environment in which talented lawyers can develop, progress and build long-term careers.

“I would like to congratulate David, Lois, Darren, Hannah and Ross on this well-deserved recognition and wish them continued success in their new roles.”

This latest announcement comes as Arthur Cox marks 30 years in Northern Ireland. Since establishing its Belfast office in 1996, the firm has played a leading role in advising businesses, financial institutions, public sector organisations and investors on many of the region’s most significant transactions and projects.
