DLA Piper adds trio to business services leadership team
Rita Yachoui, Clara Carroll, and Sinéad Reilly
DLA Piper has made three senior appointments across its business services leadership team in Ireland, further strengthening the firm’s operational, commercial and knowledge capabilities.
Rita Yachoui has joined as head of operations, Clara Carroll as head of marketing & business development, and Sinéad Reilly as head of knowledge.
As head of operations, Rita Yachoui leads DLA Piper Ireland’s business services functions, working closely with the firm’s leadership team to deliver strategic priorities that drive performance and sustainable growth. She joins from EY, where she served as director of operations for the Tax and Law business in Ireland and was a member of the senior leadership team, leading strategic planning, operational transformation and business growth initiatives.
Rita previously held senior roles within EY’s Strategy and Transactions practice in Dublin and New York, advising corporate and private equity clients on significant transactions and growth opportunities.
Clara Carroll joins as head of marketing & business development, leading the firm’s marketing, communications and business development strategy across Ireland.
Working alongside partners, the leadership team and colleagues across DLA Piper’s international network, she is responsible for strengthening the firm’s market profile, deepening client relationships and supporting cross-border growth initiatives. Clara brings extensive professional services experience, having held a number of senior leadership roles at EY Ireland, including leading the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ programme.
As head of knowledge, Sinéad Reilly leads DLA Piper Ireland’s knowledge function, working with lawyers across Ireland and the firm’s global network to enhance knowledge sharing, legal learning and the responsible use of legal technology.
Prior to joining DLA Piper, she held senior knowledge roles at Kennedys, Arthur Cox and William Fry. Most recently, she established and led the knowledge function for Kennedys’ Dublin office, embedding knowledge management into day-to-day legal practice and supporting lawyers across the business.
The appointments follow continued investment in DLA Piper Ireland, including recent senior appointments and promotions across its legal teams. They further strengthen the firm’s leadership capability as it continues to support clients on increasingly complex domestic and international matters.
David Carthy, country managing partner for DLA Piper in Ireland, said: “As we continue to grow our business in Ireland, building a strong leadership team across our business services functions is just as important as investing in our legal practice. Rita, Clara and Sinéad each bring outstanding experience that will strengthen how we support our clients, our people and our continued growth.
“These appointments reflect our ambition to be the leading global law firm in Ireland, combining exceptional local talent with the strength of DLA Piper’s international platform.”
