Gillian Montgomery has been appointed as director for courts and community and Stephen Hamilton has been appointed as director for programmes, prison and public protection.

Eileen Patterson has been newly appointed as deputy chair of the board.

Amanda Stewart, chief executive of Probation, said: “Probation’s role is to change lives for safer communities. Our new team will help ensure we prioritise service delivery in partnership with local communities. Working together we can better prevent people reoffending and enhance community safety.”
