Mrs Morley was a solicitor at Midleton firm W St Clair Rice & Co, which merged with Eoin Murphy Solicitors in 2022 to become Murphy Rice & Co.

The firm’s website continues to list her husband, Roger Morley, as consulting solicitor.

In a statement posted to LinkedIn, the Southern Law Association (SLA) said Mrs Morley was “friend to many of our colleagues, particularly in Midleton, who will miss her dearly”.

“The President and Council of the Southern Law Association join with our members in extending our sincere sympathies to her husband Roger and all the Morley family.”
