LK Shields appoints Aideen Burke as partner and head of IP, tech, media and privacy team

LK Shields Solicitors has announced the appointment of Aideen Burke as a partner and the firm’s new head of intellectual property, technology, media and data privacy.

The appointment marks Ms Burke’s return to the firm following a number of years working as legal counsel for an internationally renowned animation studio and subsequently for a global media and telecoms company. She also previously worked for a number of years in a boutique law firm in London.

She has broad-ranging expertise in the areas of IP licensing (including licensing of sports rights), trade marks, commercial contracts, complex IT and software contracts, film and TV development, finance, production and distribution arrangements, media regulation, television broadcasting arrangements, music licensing, data privacy, and defamation.
