Two teams from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (IPLS) recently competed successfully in two international legal competitions.

The IPLS Bar Mediation team, pictured above, competed as one of 42 teams from across the globe in early April in the International Law School Mediation Tournament at Strathclyde University.

The team, consisting of Bar trainees Lara Smyth, Sophie Briggs and Jenny Cunningham, was placed second overall. The team was accompanied by Barbara Jemphrey, senior IPLS lecturer.
