Lawyers from across Europe were welcomed to Dublin for the 2022 plenary session of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) over the weekend.
The Irish delegation to the CCBE comprised David Conlan Smyth SC, William Fry partner Cormac Little, Law Society president Michelle Ní Longáin and past CCBE president John Fish.
Azerbaijan was among the matters discussed at the plenary, with the CCBE ultimately resolving to admit the country with observer status.
