Dia Silverstein has announced the opening of a new immigration law firm in Douglas, Cork.

Dia Silverstein Solicitors serves an ever-increasing demand for high-quality immigration legal services in Cork including applications for naturalisation, foreign birth registration, join family visas, international protection, residence permissions, and employment permits.

Ms Silverstein has enjoyed a varied and colourful educational background having previously achieved a Master’s in music in the United States prior to emigrating to Ireland and then later earning her LLB (Hons) in law from Griffith College Cork.

After qualifying as a solicitor in 2022, she worked for a small Cork-based law firm, gaining valuable experience in immigration law before deciding to open her own practice.

Never straying too far from her passion for human rights and continuing education, she is currently an LLM candidate at University College Cork on the international human rights law and public policy Master’s programme.

Dia Silverstein Solicitors is built around a “human rights-based approach” to legal services.

“For immigration matters it is crucial that the client is an active participant in their own case from start to finish,” Ms Silverstein said.

“I always adopt a collaborative approach when working with clients ensuring they maintain their own agency throughout.”

The new firm will offer immigration legal services in Cork and also remotely to clients throughout the country and abroad.

Ms Silverstein said: “Remote consultations and remote work with clients are increasingly popular and convenient ways for clients to access legal services, particularly for immigration matters.

“Good client communication, excellent client care, and frictionless access to services are core values of my business and these are always at the forefront whether working in person or remotely.”
