Experienced immigration solicitor Eimear Nugent has announced the opening of her new practice, Nugent Solicitors, based in Swords, North County Dublin.

Ms Nugent brings more than a decade of specialist experience in immigration and citizenship law to her new firm, which will continue to provide expert legal services in all areas of immigration and citizenship matters.

Prior to establishing Nugent Solicitors, Ms Nugent worked with Crosscare Migrant Project, where she assisted service users with a wide range of immigration cases. She subsequently joined the immigration team at Brophy Solicitors before moving to Berkeley Solicitors, a specialist immigration law firm, where she practised for ten years.

Called to the Bar of Ireland in 2014, Ms Nugent was later admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2018.

In addition to her practice, she is a part-time lecturer on the Law Society’s Certificate in Immigration Law and Practice since 2022.

She is also actively involved in the Irish Immigration Lawyers Association (IILA), serving as joint membership officer and joint treasurer. The association, established in 2021, provides continuing professional development and supports the interests and concerns of solicitors practising in the areas of immigration, citizenship and international protection law.

Commenting on the launch of her new practice, Ms Nugent said she looks forward to continuing to assist clients with immigration and citizenship matters.
