Mr Brady was husband of 56 years to Margaret (née Lysaght), one of the first 100 women to call to the Irish bar.

He died peacefully at home in Donnybrook on Monday, according to a notice published on rip.ie.

He will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum (D14 F3X2) on Sunday 28 September from 3pm to 5pm.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday 29 September at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart Donnybrook, which will be streamed online, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery.
