Ms McMahon joined the firm as a trainee nearly 20 years ago and has progressed through the firm to partnership, building a strong reputation for her legal expertise and leadership.

The firm said her appointment to managing partner reflects its commitment to continuity, internal progression, and long-term stewardship.

Commenting on her appointment, Ms McMahon said: “It is a privilege to take on the role of managing partner at a firm that has been central to my professional career.

“I am sincerely grateful to my predecessor Maeve Callanan for her guidance, support and wisdom over the past nearly two decades, and I am very pleased that we will continue to work closely together as partners and colleagues.”

Looking ahead, she added: “The firm is built on strong foundations.

“My focus will be on building on these strengths while, over time, introducing considered developments in how we work, ensuring the firm continues to evolve while remaining true to its values.”
