Darren Duncan
Belfast solicitor Darren Duncan, a director at McConnell Kelly, has passed away.
Mr Duncan was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 2000 and practised at Trevor Smyth & Co and Higgins Hollywood Deazley (HHD) before joining McConnelly Kelly in 2003.
He passed away on Friday 28 July, the Law Society of Northern Ireland said.
A specialist in criminal law, Mr Duncan had particular expertise in judicial reviews, motoring offences and historical institutional abuse cases.
He was accredited as an advanced advocate, allowing him to represent clients at the highest level, both in the Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court within Northern Ireland.
