The #MeToo-themed thriller follows a solicitor called Finn Fitzpatrick who is approached by a man to investigate his daughter’s suspicious suicide, believing that she was groomed and abused by a famous film director.

The book is being published by Penguin Random House Ireland and the official launch event will take place in Waterstones, 69 Patrick Street, Cork next Thursday 17 January at 6pm.

Encouraging her colleagues to attend, Ms Kirwan told Irish Legal News: “Rambling around Waterstones is the number one place, apart from the courthouse, where I bump into my law colleagues, so I know they’re all great readers and I look forward to welcoming lots of them to the launch.”

Ms Kirwan, a graduate of UCC School of Law and the Law Society of Ireland, works at Finbarr Murphy & Co Solicitors.
