Belfast firm Cleaver Fulton Rankin has announced a 5-a-side ‘mini’ Euros Football Tournament to raise money for charity.

All profits from the tournament on Friday 10 June will go to the firm’s chosen charity of the year, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Solicitor Peter Lockhart, who is helping to organise the event, told Irish Legal News: “Cleaver Fulton Rankin is delighted to be hosting a football tournament to raise money for Macmillan CNS Nursing Hours, and would like to invite you to support this event in aid of such a worthy cause.

“This will be a fun and relaxed tournament in the build up to the UEFA EURO 2016. We know the money raised from this event will make a huge difference to Macmillan Cancer Support so please get involved!”

Men and women alike are welcome to join the competition, which is open to all levels of ability. Teams of five players and up to two optional subs can sign up at a fee of £60 per team.

The competition will take place from 3.30pm on Friday 10 June at PlayBall Stormont, Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast.

The registration form is available from the CFR website and must be returned to CFR5aside2016@cfrlaw.co.uk by Wednesday 1 June 2016. Spaces are limited so please book at your earliest convenience.

Following the tournament, all teams are invited to join the fanzone in Whistles Bar and Restaurant at The Pavilion to watch the opening game of the Euros.
