For the first time, competing golfers from Belfast, Dublin and Liverpool will compete for a new tripartite golf trophy as well as the BSA Cup.

BSA chair Steven Keown told Irish Legal News: “This year we have 68 golfers taking part in our annual golf outing on the 17th of May.

“Not only will golfers be competing for the prestigious BSA Cup, but we have also introduced a tripartite golf competition, helping to maintain a longstanding association between the Liverpool, Dublin and Belfast Solicitors’ Associations.

“We will have 24 golfers from all three jurisdictions competing for this newly commissioned and absolutely stunning claret jug.”

The event will raise money for the BSA’s mental health and wellbeing charity, Inspire, and is again sponsored by Traction Finance.

Mr Keown said: “Traction have been a loyal supporter of the BSA and their involvement as sponsor again in this, the year of the inaugural tripartite competition, is particularly appropriate given that they are an all-Ireland car finance company and we have golfers from other jurisdictions including Dublin taking part.”
