Beauchamps appoints two corporate, commercial and M&A partners

Beauchamps has appointed Oisín McLoughlin and David McMunn as partners in the firm’s corporate, commercial and M&A group.

Mr McLoughlin brings over 15 years’ experience advising a broad range of international and domestic clients on corporate transactions and investments. His practice spans mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures and corporate governance.

He also regularly advises high-growth companies and their investors on exit readiness, strategic partnerships, growth equity and corporate structuring.

Mr McLoughlin is qualified in Ireland, admitted in England and Wales and is also a qualified tax consultant with the Irish Tax Institute. He joins from previous partner roles at Dublin-based international law firms.

Mr McMunn brings more than 25 years’ experience spanning private practice, in-house counsel, and regulatory consultancy.

A leading technology and regulatory lawyer, he has advised on some of the most intricate legal and compliance issues in data protection, EU tech regulation, competition law, and artificial intelligence.

His previous roles include senior legal positions with Virgin Media Ireland, UTV Group, and WorldCom and, earlier in his career, he advised the UK government during G8 negotiations on the original Cyber Crime Treaty.
