Arthur Cox tops M&A adviser league tables for 2019

Arthur Cox has topped the league table of Irish M&A legal advisers by both deal value and volume for 2019.
The firm advised on 34 transactions valued at over $107 billion in US dollars, according to the Mergermarket report.
Cian McCourt, partner and head of corporate and M&A at Arthur Cox, said: “The ranking is a strong endorsement of the firm’s reputation as Ireland’s leading M&A legal adviser.
“Mergers and acquisitions are at the core of our practice and we advise on the most innovative and transformative Irish and cross-border deals for our clients.”
The firm was also named M&A Legal Adviser of the Year for Ireland 2019 by Mergermarket in December.
The awards recognise excellence in corporate, private equity, banking and legal M&A expertise across a number of European jurisdictions.
