Arthur Cox advises VITHIT on €75m acquisition by Nichols plc

Arthur Cox has advised VITHIT, the Dublin-founded functional drinks brand, on its acquisition by Nichols plc (AIM: NICL), the diversified soft drinks group.

Founded in 2001, VITHIT is a category-leading functional drinks brand offering a portfolio of low-calorie, low-sugar beverages fortified with vitamins and functional ingredients.

The acquisition represents a significant strategic milestone for Nichols and aligns with its strategy of investing in differentiated soft drinks brands operating in attractive growth categories.

Nichols has acquired 100 per cent of the issued share capital of VITHIT Limited and its subsidiaries for a total cash consideration of €75 million on a debt-free, cash-free basis.
