Applications have opened for the UK Supreme Court’s Moot programme for university law schools and law societies.
The UK Supreme Court offers 12 graduate law schools and university law societies the chance to have their moot final judged by one of the Supreme Court Justices at the court or virtually.
Applications for the Moot programme 2026/2027 opened on Friday 2 October and will close at 5pm on Sunday 1 November 2026. Following submission of their application, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by phone to discuss their application in further detail by the second week of November 2026.
The Supreme Court Moot Finals are specifically for accredited higher education law programmes and student-run societies in the United Kingdom.
Priority will be given to universities who have not held their moot final at the UK Supreme Court in the last two years. Universities from Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland are encouraged to apply.
