Aoife Murray
Tughans lawyer Aoife Murray has been appointed as chair of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Northern Ireland Young Planners Committee.
The committee supports early career planners across Northern Ireland through professional development, networking and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
As chair, Ms Murray – an associate director at Tughans – will lead the regional committee in delivering a programme of events and activities designed to support engagement within the planning profession and strengthen connections across the Young Planners network.
Working alongside vice-chair Nicole Walsh and the wider committee, she will contribute to initiatives aimed at supporting planners at the early stages of their careers and promoting collaboration across the planning community.
The RTPI Young Planners network provides an important platform for emerging professionals to develop skills, build professional relationships and engage with the wider profession.
“Tughans supports initiatives that develop people, skills and engagement across the planning sector, including through involvement in professional and industry bodies,” the firm said in a statement.
