And finally… red flag

Chinese officials have seized tens of thousands of maps for supposedly mislabelling Taiwan.
Around 60,000 maps were seized by customs officers in China’s eastern province of Shandong, according to the BBC.
China Customs has not specified how Taiwan was mislabelled, but experts believe they likely presented Taiwan as an independent or semi-independent country instead of a province of China.
The maps are also said to have omitted the so-called “nine-dash line” demarcating Chinese territorial claims in the South China Sea.
Customs officials said the maps were intended for export from China, rather than for domestic sale.
However, they said allowing them to be exported would “endanger national unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity”.
