NI: A&L Goodbody advises on rescue deal of Magherafelt bakery

The Belfast office of A&L Goodbody assisted Ernst & Young (EY) in successfully executing a takeover rescue deal of the Genesis Crafty bakery.
A buyer has now been lined up for McErlain’s Bakery in Magherafelt, which will save the company from collapse and save 260 jobs.
Sam Corbett, senior associate in the restructuring & insolvency team at A&L Goodbody, led the team assisting EY.
