Cadwalader becomes latest US law firm to open Dublin office

US law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP has launched an office in Dublin, following in the footsteps of Hogan Lovells, Ashurst and Linklaters.

Three of the firm’s existing London partners – David Quirolo, Robert Cannon and Suzanne Bell – are expected to rotate between the UK headquarters and the new Irish office, The Lawyer reports.

Cadwalader is New York City’s oldest law firm and recorded global revenue of $459 million (around €386 million) in 2019.

The expansion into Ireland re-establishes an EU base for the firm following the shuttering of its Brussels office in 2018, which left London as its only office outside the US.
