NI: Belfast solicitors attend launch of new Clinical Negligence Practitioners’ Group

Over 60 solicitors gathered in Belfast yesterday for the launch of the Law Society of Northern Ireland’s new Clinical Negligence Practitioners’ Group.
Solicitor Rory McShane welcomed new members to the meeting, where an inaugural chair and vice chair were elected.
Paddy Mullarkey, newly-elected chair of the group, addressed members on his aspirations and plans for his term of office.
Keynote speakers at yesterday’s meeting in Law Society House included Mr Justice Paul Maguire and Mr Justice Gerry McAlinden, who provided an update on recent developments in clinical negligence law.
