Lebanese prosecutors have formally appealed sentences handed down in connection with the 2022 murder of Irish peacekeeper Seán Rooney. A military tribunal in Lebanon last month sentenced six men in connection with the murder of Private Rooney and attempted killing of Trooper Shane Kearney, Co
