Email delivery issues

Are you subscribed to our daily newsletter, but not receiving it in your inbox? Don't panic! There is often a simple solution to this issue, and this page outlines a number of steps you can take to resolve email delivery issues.

Spam filter

The first and easiest thing to check is whether the newsletter is being automatically sorted into your spam folder.

If you can find the newsletter there, you can manually mark it as "not spam" to ensure it isn't wrongly flagged as spam in future.

Whitelist our email and IP

If the newsletter is neither in your inbox nor in your spam folder, it may be that your email service provider is blocking access to emails from us altogether.

If you are using a corporate email address (e.g. @yourfirm.com), you should ask your IT department to whitelist our email and IP addresses. Send them a link to this page to assist them.

Our newsletter is always sent from newsletter@irishlegal.com and our dedicated IP address:

  • 23.251.239.37

If you are using a personal email address, for example provided by Gmail or Hotmail, you can usually whitelist an email address by adding it to your contacts.

Microsoft 365 users

If your workplace uses Microsoft 365, you can follow the instructions on this page to whitelist our email and IP addresses.

You can also follow the instructions set out on this page to report our newsletter as a false positive. This can help improve deliverability in the longer term.
