Taylor Wessing is to roll out a new AI-powered tool in Dublin following a successful pilot.

The global law firm says it is now rolling out Legora, a collaborative AI for lawyers, firmwide following a pilot which involved more than 80 lawyers across multiple Taylor Wessing offices.

Legora is designed to support day-to-day legal work, acting as a virtual assistant to help with tasks including case analysis, document and table review and drafting support.

Adam Griffiths, partner and head of the Dublin office at Taylor Wessing, said: “The roll out of Legora in Ireland and across Taylor Wessing globally aligns with our client-first AI strategy.

“We are focused on embedding the right tools where they add the most value and insight.

“This marks an exciting development enhancing the way we work and the service we provide, while ensuring we maintain a competitive edge in the Irish market.”

Legora’s head of UK and Ireland, Alex Fortescue-Webb, said: “Our partnership with Taylor Wessing represents a shift in how we think about empowering lawyers and accelerating the adoption of AI within law firms.

“They are clear that AI is an integral part of the firm’s future, and a key lever in how they will continue to maintain and extend the exceptional service they provide to their clients.

“It’s an honour to be trusted as a key partner on this journey and to collaborate so closely with them to bring further enhancements to the Legora platform.”
