Shane Smyth
FRKelly partner Shane Smyth has been elected as president of the Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys (APTMA) in Ireland for a three-year term.
APTMA Ireland represents the interests of all trade mark, patent and design professionals in Ireland and strives to bring recognition to the work they do.
Mr Smyth, a registered trade mark and patent attorney as well as a qualified solicitor, has previously served as managing partner of FRKelly.
He is also a past president of the Irish chapter of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
