RDJ awarded Investors in Diversity Gold accreditation

RDJ has been awarded Investors in Diversity Gold accreditation – the highest accreditation awarded by the Irish Centre for Diversity, Ireland’s leading awarding body for equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

The Gold accreditation recognises RDJ’s sustained and authentic commitment to embedding equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of the firm. It also acknowledges the continued investment being made to ensure people are treated fairly, respected for who they are, and supported to thrive at every stage of their career.

RDJ is one of just 41 organisations in Ireland to achieve Investors in Diversity Gold status.

Fionnuala Power, people and culture director at RDJ, said: “Achieving Investors in Diversity Gold is an important milestone for RDJ and a strong endorsement of the work being done across the firm to foster an inclusive, respectful and supportive workplace. This recognition reflects the commitment of our people and leadership to embedding diversity and inclusion into how we work every day – not just as a policy, but as a lived experience. We are proud of this achievement and remain focused on continuing to learn, listen and evolve.”

The external assessment conducted by the Irish Centre for Diversity highlighted a number of standout strengths across the firm, including clear and measurable action to address gender imbalance, strong senior‑level ownership and accountability, and a genuine commitment to dignity and respect in everyday workplace culture. RDJ was recognised for inclusive recruitment supported by partnerships with universities, further education institutions and transition year programme, alongside progressive retention initiatives, including a robust return‑to‑work process. This is reflected in employee feedback, with 97.3 per cent of staff saying colleagues are accepting of others regardless of background and 90.6 per cent agreeing the firm positively facilitates flexible working.

Caroline Cummins, managing director of the Irish Centre for Diversity, commented: “RDJ LLP’s journey from Investors in Diversity Bronze to Silver to now Gold has been impressive. Their progress reflects real intent, real action, and a real sense of belonging across the organisation.”
