First Minister Arlene Foster and deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness attended the opening of Queen’s University Belfast’s new £20 million School of Law building on Friday.

The new building includes innovative teaching spaces, central to which is the Moot Court Room interactive teaching space.

At an opening event held in the Moot Court Room - which was closed to the media - lecturers and staff heard from Ms Foster, Mr McGuinness and Lord Kerr of the UK Supreme Court.

The new building was opened as part of the university’s planned £350 million investment over the next ten years.
