Ms Duffy joined the firm in 2019 and is part of its wills, probate and conveyancing department, dealing with estate planning, estate administration, enduring powers of attorney and all property transactions.

She also practises in the area of divorce and separation.

A graduate of NUI Galway, Ms Duffy was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 2012 after training in a Dublin-based firm.

E. C. Gearty & Co Solicitors has provided legal services in Co Longford and beyond since the late 1980s. It was founded by the late Enda Gearty, father of managing partner Frank Gearty, who became principal of the firm in 2001.

Mr Gearty is supported by partners Sandra Carroll, who joined the firm in 2002, and Lorcan Gearty, who joined in 2010. The firm is also supported by solicitor Michelle Reynolds and seven support staff.
