New law firm Daly McCormick launches in Northern Ireland

Caoimhe McCormick and Claire Daly

New corporate law firm Daly McCormick has launched with a presence in Mid Ulster and Belfast, aiming to bring a more commercially aligned approach to legal advisory services.

Founded by Claire Daly and Caoimhe McCormick, the firm is focused on integrating legal advice earlier in the decision-making process, particularly in transactions and business structuring.

“Too often, lawyers are brought in at the end of a process, when key decisions have already been made,” said Ms Daly. “Our approach is to be involved earlier, when those decisions are still being shaped.”

Daly McCormick will specialise exclusively in corporate and commercial advisory work, including transactions, restructures, governance, commercial agreements, employee incentives and succession planning.

Both founders previously worked in-house within a leading accountancy environment, experience they say informs a more practical, joined-up approach to advising clients.
