New book explores law and policy on white collar crime in Ireland

A new book on white collar crime in Ireland, written by leading senior practitioners, academics and regulators in the field, has been published by Clarus Press.

White-Collar Crime in Ireland: Law and Policy, edited by Dr Joe McGrath at University College Dublin, was published today.

The “unique” 230-page book is aimed at academics, practitioners, policy-makers and those with an interest in corporate affairs.

It includes contributions from senior associate Cathal Grennan and partner Kenan Furlong of A&L Goodbody; Ciaran Walker, consultant at Eversheds and former deputy director of enforcement at the Central Bank of Ireland; Remy Farrell SC; and Declan O’Reilly, legal officer at the Criminal Assets Bureau.

It also includes chapters by Dr McGrath; Professor Shane Kilcommins and Dr Eimear Spain of the University of Limerick; Professor Claire Hill of the University of Minnesota; partner David Carson and director Barry Robinson of Deloitte; Dr Mary Catherine Lucey of University College Dublin; and Tom O’Malley BL, senior lecturer at NUI Galway.
