Maureen Daly has joined Reddy Charlton LLP as a partner.

Ms Daly specialises in all areas of intellectual property law including portfolio management, clearance, registration, enforcement and strategic protection of IP rights. 

Her work spans trade mark filings and prosecutions, IP due diligence and the commercialisation of IP through licences, assignments, franchising, sponsorship, R&D collaborations and confidentiality agreements. She also advises clients in complex IP disputes and regularly represents them before the Irish Courts.

Ms Daly also has significant expertise in artificial intelligence, including compliance with the EU AI Act, issues relating to text and data mining, AI related copyright infringement and ownership.

She is recognised by renowned international directories including Chambers and Legal 500 for her work. She lectures widely in Ireland and internationally on IP, data protection and AI and is the author of numerous publications in these fields. She holds an honours degree in biochemistry from University College Dublin, a master’s in copyright law from King’s College London and is also a qualified Irish and European Trade Mark Attorney as well as a UPC representative.
