Mason Hayes & Curran appoints Domhnall Breatnach as dispute resolution partner

Mason Hayes & Curran LLP has appointed Domhnall Breatnach as a partner in the firm’s dispute resolution team.

Mr Breatnach advises on multi-party litigation before all Irish courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. He has extensive experience advising on commercial disputes across a range of sectors, with particular expertise in life sciences and technology.

He assists clients on a number of areas including regulatory investigations, intellectual property and product liability claims. He also advises on alternative dispute resolution processes.

Commenting on the appointment, Maurice Phelan, head of dispute resolution, said: “We are delighted to welcome Domhnall as partner to our market leading team. Domhnall brings significant experience and expertise to the firm and is a further boost to the breadth and depth of our dispute resolution offering.”

Prior to joining MHC, Mr Breatnach worked with another leading Irish law firm. He has a bachelor of law from University of Limerick and a Master’s degree from Kings College London specialising in IP.
